+Thot
I notice that some people link directly to an individual post within a thread. For example this link goes directly to the post that Keystone Approver wanted to take the person to. How is this done? I only know how to link to an entire thread. I don't know how to determine the number of a specific post. Quote Link to comment
+CYBret
Click the "posted" button right next to the date and time of the post. It pulls up a window with a link to that post. Then of course use the http:// button to insert it. Bret Quote Link to comment
+AuntieWeasel
Interesting question! The link you posted goes to: forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=96748&st=0%EF%BF%BDentry1449092 Where "showtopic" is the topic number and "entry" is the entry number (I'm assuming). If you hover over the "quote" button, you see the entry number of the post you're about to quote. Perhaps if you plug the entry number and topic number into the URL above it would work, though I don't know what "&st=0%EF%BF%BD" indicates. Hang on, let's try it. Quote Link to comment
+AuntieWeasel
Shoot. CYBret got there afore me. I discounted that because it didn't show me a unique post number when I hovered. It must pick it up when you click. Quote Link to comment
