Does anyone know this puzzle cache in California?

I'm heading down to California next week for a vacation and plan to get some caching in. One is a mystery cache I had put aside to do if I ever get down there -- but I've lost the printout! The name eludes me and I can't even remember which city it's in! All I can remember is that you have to go into an old warehouse and look through many containers to find the cache. There was nothing to solve beforehand, as the co-ordinates were given.
Does this vague description ring a bell with anyone?

Thanks,
GordEtob

Greetings From Prescott Valley

re-Posted here since I discovered it was here!

AKA Mentor Wanted!

Hi all

New girl in town and living in the gorgeous Prescott Valley, Az. Just joined the site as a premium member so will be learning about all the functions and offerings.

I stumbled over a cache accidentally last year while checking out an historical marker/graveyard and was officially hooked, though I'd been familiar with the site and concept for awhile before then. I was given a Magellan sports trak GPS but wasn't very intuitive and had no manuals, cables or anything and couldn't figure out how to use it.

Anyway, I'm browsing Amazon ready to order something solid, reliable, and easy to use in the $300 range.

I'm seeing high reviews for the Garmin Rino, so thought I would post and ask if anyone here is using it and how it fares for a complete noob and anything I might need to be aware of, and especially if I'll end up spending more $ on back end accessories that I will need but that don't come with (and worse, aren't even mentioned).

Finally, if anyone is in Prescott Valley Az area, I would love to meet you. We're relatively new in town too and I've had little opportunity to meet people so far. Geocaching buds would be ideal!

Thanks in advance. I think the email is shown, maybe in profile if you prefer that option too.

Have a great evening!

(Note - I bought the Garmin Rino 120 2 way radio and waiting on delivery for tomorrow but if anyone uses it, I would love feedback all the same)

Aloha! Must do Hawaii Caches?

We're off to Hawaii in just over a week! I was wondering if any Hawaii Geocachers have some MUST DO caches in the areas where we'll be visiting. We will be limited on time in both places, so we are looking for the best of the best!

First, we'll be on Oahu, mostly staying close to Waikiki, although we will be driving along the coast for a day (toward Waimanalo & Kailua).

Second, we'll be in Kona for about 2 days (well, we'll be there longer, but we'll be scuba diving exclusively, only 2 days for caching). We'll be staying right in Kona, but plan to circle the island over to Hilo and back one day.

Any ideas?

--Kim

While hiking the Trail Canyon trail to Cave Springs at Mt. Charleston Nevada, we lost our GPS. The model was CSX60s I think.. It's in a black case with a black and blue strap. Only thing with it in the case was some rechargeable batteries. When you turn it on, it says, "hello Steve" but other than that there is no traceable info to get it back to us!
We went back the same day and looked for it.. then we went back the next day to look again.. fairly certain it's been picked up!
Hope to find it, it's like missing a member of the family... we were so sad!
Please post if you find it!
CollinsGang

Grand Canyon caches

Hi folks,

I hope it's OK to post this here, I am new to the Forums, if not let me know where ti should go and I'll post it there!

I am after a little local information - We are Cachers in the UK and are about to release a TB our aim, as we are unable to get there ourselves is to get our TB to Grand Canyon (and maybe back again) a tall order but it should be fun trying.

I was last in GC in 1992 and would really love to get the TB to a Cache near the Grand Canyon Visitor Center but despite looking for it on google Earth I have been unable to locate the centre or near by caches. Perhaps caching is not OK in US National Parks I don't know, but I'd love to find the nearest Cache to visitors centre in or out of the GC park itself.

Can anyone link me to caches in that area?

Cheers

Ali M

Help needed on Route 66 near AZ / NM border

Hello, and greetings from the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm hoping you can help us out. A bunch of us mad-puzzle-cachers are working on a series of related puzzles that require a lot of teamwork and describe locations throughout the Bay Area, and indeed, the US.

We've been directed to find the next clue at the following coordinates:

N35 21.969 W109 02.934

I am wondering if someone from this forum will be able to assist us by venturing out to the above coordinates and reporting back with the clue. It is important to be prepared to look at whatever clue is found (generally a word or phrase written/printed on a sheet of paper) under UV light. Our friend has been known to include "extra" information.

You can follow all the antics on this thread of our forums (registration required): http://www.thegba.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4678. Your part comes in on page 27 of the thread.

If you are willing and able to help, it would be most helpful if you could chime in on the thread referenced above and let us know. Doing so would also allow you to coordinate with others if more than one person would like to participate.

Thanks for your time!
--Doug (sfodoug)
