Tietysti näitä tapahtuu niin ulkomailla, kuin suomessakin ja varmasti ulkomaisilla foorumeilla niistä on ollut puhettakin. Tämän ketjun tarkoitus onkin siis koota hauskoja/erikoisia kokemuksia poliisin/palokunnan/ym kanssa tekemisissäolosta kätköreissuilla.

Itse havahduin tähän vasta vähän aikaa sitten ollessani loggaamassa muuatta kätköä. Juuri kun olin saanut purkin esiin kätköstään, niin maija kaarti viereeni ja jäi siihen parkkiin. Kirjoittelin siinä nimeni lokiin ja koetin olla mahdollisimman epä-epäilyttävän näköinen, vaikka olin melko varma siitä, että kohta joudun vastailemaan muutamaan kysymykseen. Ihme kyllä, poliisit eivät häirinneet harrastustani mitenkään edes siinä vaiheessa kun laitoin kätkön (joka oli vielä magneettinen mikro) takaisin piiloonsa. Katselivat vain autonsa ikkunasta ja hymyilivät. Melkein heräsi sellainen kysymys, että kuinkahan tietoinen suomen virkavalta on kätköilystä, koska nämä poliisit tuntuivat melkein kuin odottavan omaa vuoroaan päästä loggaamaan

Ich habe absolut keine Kenntnisse der Finnischen Sprache )-:
Da ich ein Travelbug mit einem "Tagebuch" als Anhang in die nordischen Länder[u] auf Reisen schicken möchte, bitte ich hier um Hilfe !!!
Sicher liest jemand mit deutschen Sprachkenntnissen dieses Schreiben.
Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn jemand bereit ist mir einen kurzen Text (etwa 6 - 7 Sätze) in finnischer Sprache zu übersetzen.
Ich würde den Text per PN oder Mail Zuschicken.
Den gleichen Versuch werde ich auch auf der Norwegische, Dänischen und Schwedischen Seite starten.

Tilapäisen (joskin pitkähkön) häiriön takia Marttaristin pimeäkätkö oli poikkeuksellisen hankala haettava tässä vielä jokin aikaa sitten, mutta huoltokäynti on palauttanut palikat jälleen ojennukseen.

Näin syksyn hiljalleen pimentyessä kätkön anti alkaa olla parhaimmillaan ja yökätköilyn kokemus on halukkaiden otettavana reilusti vajaan tunnin ajomatkan päässä Tampereelta Helsingin suuntaan.

Siitä vaan siis taskulampuille paristojen testaus ja kunnon maastojalkineet jalkaan ja pöpelikköön valoheijasteiden ohjattavaksi...

We was on holiday in Joensuu, Oulanka, Koli, Yllas-Pallastunturi... And we placed our first travel bug - panda (http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=90270ad6-d34e-4c70-a293-fc3dd30cc91a) in Finland.
Someone (MiSa) placed it to the cache Bongaa tipu near Pielisjoki and now we have i big problem.

Nusut told us more informations, here they are:
"We saw the cache when we visited in bird tower, but we couldn't log it. We send message to Pirpana and Pirpana told that the cache was in differend place when he / she logged it (under the tower). When we saw the cache, it was under the walking level of the tower (very high) and we couldn't reach it safely. Maybe somebody is joking here, but it's not very nice. It has been very difficult to contact cache owner MiSa. We saw your panda in Kalmanniemi and hope that it's still safe in the cache."

Owner of cache - MiSa - is "Not validated member" and we can't contact it.

Please, save a panda! If you can, contact owner MiSa or find this cache with some tools and place panda to the other cache.

We are coming to Finland this coming weekend to find some caches (it's a required country) and we are staying in Helsinki.

Our plans are that we will hunt down some caches in Helsinki city, take a return ferry to Tallinn, Estonia (also a required country) and a day trip to Turku, but we would also like to go to the countryside, however, we are not having any luck finding where we can catch a train to the countryside then take a walk (4 hours or so) around a lake and forests finding loads of caches in the process - can anyone give us some suggestions, thank-you.

Väännettiin tuossa kimppaan kurkimakosen kanssa yhteinen kätkö toisen yhteisen harrastuksen teemalla. Minulla oli jo muutama kätkö omistuksessa niin pantiin tämä kurkimakosen tilille. i'm a guy from Germany. I was in Helsinki the last weekend. There i found a TB without a description of its Goal. Im new in Geocaching and i didn't know that it is possible that the Goal of a TB is only described on the Internetsite. So i took the TB with me to Germany by mistake.
