+6coondawgs
I have a Garmin Vista HCX and have been downloading waypoints via pocket queries. My GPS has reached it's limit. How do I delete the waypoints on the GPS besides deleting one waypoint at a time? Can I delete a group without deleting all of the waypoints? I am using EasyGPS. Thanks Quote Link to comment
+Miragee
When you are on the Find Geocaches page, hit the Menu button. From there, you can choose Delete. I Delete by symbol, getting rid of all the Geocaches, and Geocaches Found, before putting a new set of cache waypoints in. If I create a waypoint in the field, I make sure the icon is not either of the Treasure Chest icons, to ensure the waypoint stays on the GPSr until I don't need it anymore. Quote Link to comment

robertlipe
The "feed the FAQ" department notes that this question is in the FAQ pinned at the top of this group. http://www.gpsfaqs.org/faqs/garmin/xseries...points.html#far You'll probably find answers to questions you didn't even know you had yet. :-) Quote Link to comment
+trooperdjb
The other way to do it is download all waypoints to your pc then delete all from the waypoint page and in mapsource delete in groups or however you want then re-load the keepers back to the gps. Kind of between delete all and going through all 1000 one at a time and removing the ones you want to. Quote Link to comment
