I would like to know what the initials CAD means when someone mentions it in their log. I haven't been able to find it anywhere in the glossary.

I've seen CAD used as an abbreviation for "cache and dash", meaning a fast and easy find.

In this day of 'make your own abbreviations', it's hard to tell without a little bit 'o context.

 

I'd go along with larry, here.... just a guess, tho.

Used in the UK instead of PAG (Park and Grab)

 

However... In the UK forum we did have someone asking what 'TAG' meant.

 

When asked, he linked to a couple of new caches where finders had mentioned 'TAG' especially asking "Wonder where TAG is?"

 

Turned out to be another local cacher -The Allotment Gardner- who was known as TAG, who was usually one of the FTF's but these cachers had been published while he was on holiday!
