+azspecter
I just downloaded a new PQ- and my found caches from a week ago are not showing up as found in GSAK. I know I logged them correctly as they're shown here on gc.com. What's going on with this? Thanks Quote Link to comment
+gnbrotz
Have you 'told' GSAK how to recognize you? Under Tools-->Options, on the left-hand side is a place to specify the "Method for matching placed and found caches". If you select the "Owner ID #" option and enter 536323 in the box below, it should recognize you. Edited February 17, 2007 by gnbrotz Quote Link to comment
+azspecter
Yup- did that, still doing it. Any other suggestions? Quote Link to comment
+gnbrotz
Is it possible that your PQ is returning only caches "that I haven't found"? This would mean that the ones you found last week aren't included in the latest PQ, and GSAK doesn't know it should update those records as found, it just leaves them as is. Quote Link to comment
+ergomaniac
I'll ask the obvious just in case... Did you check the correct selection under "Database Update Options" and "Found Status Update Options" on the main GSAK import page. If you make the wrong selection, an existing cache will not be overwritten if it already exists in GSAK. Check out the Help on these options for an explanation. I have mine set to query the logs and check the previous log date to see if the new log has been updated. It will only update the items that have changed. If you have this set incorrectly, then you won't get an update (to found) if the cache already exists in GSAK. You also might want to load your "Finds" by running the "My Finds" query (allowed once/week). It seems to be the only query that will give you a correct listing of your finds. I believe the regular pocket queries miss some of the caches that I've found that have since been archived. Quote Link to comment
+Oxford Stone
I'm stuck and frustrated with GSAK - it knows who I am and where I live and what my hidden caches are, but not my found caches. Any suggestions please? Quote Link to comment

Any suggestions please? Run, and import into GSAK, the special "My Finds" Pocket Query. It contains ALL you Found logs. (Providing you've set OwnerID ) (Groundspeak wont allow GSAK to download it directly via the api, you will have to download it to your computer first, before importing it to GSAK) Edited February 9, 2015 by Bear and Ragged Quote Link to comment
