jharpj
My IE 11 does not have the option to turn on compatible view settings. Chrome says it no longer accepts this plug in. I tried using another browser - Opera - doesn't work. Quote Link to comment

+BCandMsKitty
You could try this for windows 8 and IE 11 I was having the same problem and finally got explorer to download to my GPS. In Internet explorer 11 click the settings button in the upper right hand corner then click on Compatibility View settings and add geocaching.com. After doing this I tried to send coordinates to my GPS and it worked! I detest IE and haven't used it for years. Firefox has always performed well with any windows platform I've ever used. (but I haven't yet had to play with windows 8) Edited February 26, 2015 by BC & MsKitty Quote Link to comment
jharpj
Okay so I came back the next day and found it worked fine, don't know what I did different except maybe squinting up my face a little. Quote Link to comment
+popokiiti
Glad it is sorted - I was going to suggest logging right out of Groundspeak/Geocaching then logging back in. That is what I had to do to get it to "take." Quote Link to comment
