SeleneQ
Hello all, I apologize as I am sure this has been addressed many times, but I cannot find an answer. Today, we accidentally found a geocache. I was already familiar with the concept so we eagerly made a trade (happened to have some decent trinkets in our pockets), and wrote in the logbook. Now I would like to log our find here on the website, but can't figure out how. I don't have a GC code but I do have the coordinates - I tried entering the coordinates in the search bar to no avail. Perhaps I am formatting it incorrectly. Help? The coordinates - as written on the geocache box itself: N44°28:651 W78°20:571 Thanks. Quote Link to comment
+wmpastor
Try looking at the geocaching map. It should be easy, especially if the cache is near a street or landmark. To get to the map, go to "find a geocache" and then select map. Quote Link to comment
+JPatton
Here is the cache that is at the coordinates you posted. Typing the coordinates in didn't work for you because of the colons. They need to be decimal points. Quote Link to comment
