Big book of geocaches

Has anyone else found a hide and gone, 'Wow! I can't give enough favorite points for this!'

Here's an example of what I mean- part of a series of 'whodunnit' caches based upon the 'Clue' game.

It's a real shame that 99.9% of the geocaching community will never see this hide. Should Groundspeak publish a photobook of the best hides in the world, stripped of their location info, for our enjoyment and posterity?

I actually gave four favorite points in a week's geocaching! That's unusual for me!

This is a cache in a beautiful spot! For me it was a four mile with almost a mile of bushwhacking, round trip. And it hadn't been found in over four years! Loved it!

Didn't take a lot of pictures....

A superbly creative one in Clearfield, Pa, near a Big Foot Crossing sign. Would have given that one two favorite points, if I could have!

A wonderful spot in Elk County, PA, with a giant ammo can!

And a really creative hide in Lilly, PA (Cambria County)

(Yes. I'm still working on the All Pennsylvania County Challenge.)

It's not always about the container. It's about where you take me and what you show me!

Odd. While this directs to a gc.com web page, it also brings up an authentication dialog box for "Enter username and password for http://myweb.poncacity.net"

It's rainwater's post.

However, many images don't appear with or without credentials, a separate aggravation.

This is actually one of the few forum areas that allows for attachment of photo files.... when they work. I find that whether the image displays or not is pretty much hit and missed when one is attached to a message here, almost as though it depends upon which server is being hit for the *.php or something weird like that.
