+Yellow_Snow
Hi, Apparently "I haven't found" filter is broken for me. Steps to reproduce on my end: (1) Do regional search for "Pomorskie, Poland" - this yields 1602 finds. (2) Click "Add filters" and select "I haven't found" radio button - this yields 1345 finds, but ... ... some caches, including the very first cache on the list, have a smiley (i.e. I have found it already)! How do I proceed to get it fixed? This is the first time I need Groundspeak support and I am a little lost. Thanks, Yellow_Snow Quote Link to comment
+HHL
The NewSearch is sometimes a bit behind with syncing the database. Hans Quote Link to comment

I was able to reproduce it as described on your account. We will investigate the problem. Quote Link to comment

Thanks, Yellow_Snow One of our engineers identified the problem and has kicked off a data reindexing process that should fix the strange results you were seeing within the next 20 hours or so. In the meantime, could you post here regarding the exact steps you used to log the geocaches that are showing up incorrectly? One hypothesis is that you may be using a logging method that currently isn't captured in our data indexing. We'd like to remedy that if possible. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+Yellow_Snow
Hi, Search is again working as expected - thanks! I use only 2 logging methods - either directly through geocaching.com web interface or through c:geo Android app. Hope that helps. Sadly, I no longer have a list of the caches that caused me to report the original issue - unless you have them, I am unable to identify a specific logging method used for them. +The Leprechauns
If you want better data synchronization, try using an official Geocaching app or one of the authorized Geocaching Live! partner apps, instead of an unauthorized app. Quote Link to comment
+KacheKook
The "I haven't found" filter doesn't appear to be working for me... Might be cause I've changed my Username a couple times. Is it looking caches up by the name that was used during the find? I'd think it'd use an ID instead of a name. All my finds are listed under my current username... Can we request another synch if that's what fixes it? Edited February 5, 2017 by KacheKook Quote Link to comment
