Gizmo2371
How can I get tracking code for a homemade coin? For example: Let's just say I made wooden coins I would like to have a code or codes assigned to them so I can track where they go. Like (off the top of my head) GC NH603X For all tense and purposes (GC NH603X) is not an actual or real code [i think] So where can I get the tracking code or batch of codes? Quote Link to comment
+kunarion
So where can I get the tracking code or batch of codes? You may buy tracking numbers in bulk, to put on your own Geocoins. The minimum order for tracking numbers is 50, and Groundspeak must first approve your design. Here's some info: http://support.Groun...=kb.page&id=332 Or if it's just for a few items, you may buy Travel Bugs and use the tracking numbers. You could even attach the TB dogtag. At least there should be some text like "trackable on Geocaching.com" on the coins, so that finders know what the deal is. Edited April 7, 2017 by kunarion Quote Link to comment

Yes. All trackable geocoins design need to be approved prior to production. This been said, you can make any "non-trackable" coins without approval.
