I was wondering if any one could answer a question I use to be a Apple iPhone user I brought geocache for the iPhone but have since moved over to a samsung android phone and really don't want to pay another £7.99 to get the app on this device any idea of how it get it on my Samsung without paying again

No way. The app is specific to the platform.

Not being a phone owner myself, I have to ask:

 

are there other Apple apps that you can transfer to a Samsung?

It would have to be a free app (free on both platforms, in both app stores) that uses a subscription service. After switching platforms, you'd download the free app for the new platform, and associate it with your subscription account.

 

But I don't know of any apps that work that way.

You're not being charged twice for the same product; you are buying a different product from a different vendor. Yes, it is to accomplish the same purpose, but it is a different vendor.
