+geo K
I put a geocoin into circulation but it is not moving. The view map has only the 1st location. Is that because I did not have a log on the 1st entry. The Edit log feature is disabled. Can it be enabled for me to put a beginning log on it. he code is TB6JZWP Edited July 6, 2015 by Flying Spaghetti Monster Quote Link to comment
+TeamEccs21
Has Another Cacher found the cache since you dropped the coin? If not that would explain its not moving. If so a couple of things could have happened a) no one picked it up or discovered it....Not very Likely Someone has picked it up and hasn't gotten around to logging it yet c) it was stolen d) it was picked up by someone who doesn't know how to deal with trackables Hope it shows up soon Edited July 6, 2015 by TeamEccs21 Quote Link to comment

The public reference code is TB6JZWP http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?tracker=TB6JZWP The person who retrieved it only did so on the 2nd. Perhaps they have forgotten they have it, perhaps they haven't found a cache large enough to drop it. That person has not dropped the coin yet, or logged any "visited" logs, so there won't be anything else to show on the map. B. Edited July 6, 2015 by Pup Patrol Quote Link to comment
+Droo
Movement will be detected and shown when the coin is dropped in another cache - I'm not sure about "cache visits". Each cache is a waypoint and it takes going from one waypoint to another to generate distance and direction, i.e. movement. Quote Link to comment

See the history of my poor coin, starting with page 2: http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=946567&page=2 mileage amounts were added with each "visit" log. B. Quote Link to comment
Pup Patrol
I can't get the map to zoom in or move for that coin. Don't know if it's my computer or the GS system. I was trying to see if each "visited" log was marked on the map. B. Quote Link to comment

Retrieved only four days ago (discovered today), possible the person who retrieved it dropped it (and just hasn't logged in yet), or simply showed it to another to discover. Not a long time to hold a trackable. Map location will/should change when it's dropped into another cache. Quote Link to comment

(my bad) Of course the mileage is added, just the TO does NOT get notices of 'visit' activity. Quote Link to comment
+geo K
Thanks to all for your wisdom. It appears that the cache has not been dropped yet. so I will just hang in there. Quote Link to comment
