+gailbook
I created a pocket query and using GSAK downloaded from my computer to the GPS. The 1000 caches went to the waypoint icon rather than the geocache icon. How do I get the caches to the right icon? I can't tell anything from the waypoint icon such as where the cache is, name, etc. Any help appreciated. Quote Link to comment
+Red90
How did you send them to the GPS exactly? There are a lot of options. Basically... GPS/GPS Setup/ Choose the correct model. Then GPS/Send Waypoints and make sure the "Waypoint Type" is set to Geocaches. Quote Link to comment
+Chrysalides
I'm sure GSAK can handle it natively - try what Red90 suggested - but an alternative is to use a macro like this one : http://gsak.net/board/index.php?showtopic=7745&st=40entry215150 Quote Link to comment
+geodarts
Or as an another alternative, simply export the open list of caches from the file menu. Export as a gpx file and save them to the garmin/gpx folder of the unit or sd card. Unless you have a special reason to use gsak for this purpose, you can also simply unzip the pocket query and transfer the .gpx files. Edited November 22, 2014 by geodarts Quote Link to comment
