We will be going on excursion on our other 3 stops but this one we decided to just go on our own and wanted to cache. Must be close to ship and no hiking due to my husbands disability. There is one cache there and the next closest is over 14 miles away from that one. In looking at that in Google Earth, it does not look like a normal cruise ship port. Quote Link to comment

+AKStafford Posted May 12, 2014 Share Posted May 12, 2014 The cache that the Jester mentioned is about a 1/2 mile walk from the "Icy Strait Point." I grew up in Hoonah, but that was back before they developed the old cannery into a cruise destination. That one cache is the only one in Hoonah. I'd love to get back down there some day to do it.
