What's your favorite GIFF movie?

Got back from attending the GIFF event tonight. I enjoyed nearly all the clips this year. I especially enjoyed the last one (FTF guy with the girl problems, lol), the one with the kids playing medics with the injured cache, as well as the one with the guy who loses the FTF after his heroic swim on the floatie.

Just curious what your favorite clips were....

I just got back from our local GIFF event. I was a bit disappointed in the last movie; it was definitely on the side of *inappropriate* for a family-friendly event. Nothing against the cachers who made the video, but there were a few young cachers in the audience, and I don't think it was the right thing to show them.

I thought that this years batch was great. Stronger than last years. I laughed the whole time, as most were funny. I was impressed with the passion that each one showed. My favorite one, however, was the Turkish one where geocaching changed the girls life. I have often thought about how geocaching has changed me. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

The last one (from Germany) was very funny as it showed the obsession of the FTF-hunters. And some real geocachers indeed are not far from this stage of addiction to the game and are equipped with all tools you can think of. Although in the US something else than a bicycle would be the 'cachemobile' of choice. And here no one objected that it wasn't family-friendly enough for the children that were looking, apparently different Kulturkreis. ;)

Most plots were quite exaggerated like the '5 lesser known souvenirs' (altough there are real people acting like they want this souvenirs) and the turkish one and the muggle guide, but this is inherent to such clips, as is showing the finest adventures and the most impressive landscape (like the Japanese and Turkish clips).

Our family really enjoyed Cache Medics. We laughed so hard when the boy got into the shopping cart. They also thought the first video was great with the guy in his bathrobe and 'It's not Trash, It's a Geocache!' (my 7 year old has been singing that the last two days. I enjoyed the FTF Hunter and Lesser Known Souvenirs myself. Will these be online later on? Also, in the FTF video was that a REAL geocache with the slot machine?

I don't know, but they should be. Cachers who weren't able to make it to one of the special events should still have a chance to see the films. Does anyone remember whether last year's films were later made available to everyone?

My favourites were (in no particular order):

5 Lesser-Known Souvenirs

NYC Caching: Muggle Madness!

The FTF-Hunter

I thought it was fine. There is nothing shown, only implied. I think it would fly over the heads of most kids, including the double meaning of FTF.
