I am trying to find up-to-date numbers on this statistic. There is a post from 2013 with these data, but I would like to know the stats as of November 2016. Is there anywhere I can look this up?

I can give you accurate data for all South America... unfortunately most of the other resources don't exclude Disabled caches.

 

Argentina - 1201 (one less during this morning)

Bolivia - 50

Brazil - 2721

Chile - 642 (two less during this morning)

Colombia - 172

Ecuador - 139

Falkland Islands - 67

French Guiana - 19

Guyana - 8

Paraguay - 12

Peru - 128 (one less during this morning)

South Georgia and Sandwich Island - 5

GS just announced that they'll be releasing five new country based souvenirs over the next five weeks and based on past criteria for choosing countries for a souvenir, Romania is at the top of the list. Other possible countries in this years batch include

 

Hong Kong

Taiwan

China

Israel

Argentina

Puerto Rico

Isle of Man

United Arab Emirates

and maybe a couple of others.
