+Roedeer
Hi, In November I am going on holiday to South East Australia. I am looking for a micro sd card with the walking maps of south East Autralia. A file via Wetransfer is another option. Who can help me? Thanks, Erik Quote Link to comment

I have OSM in Mapsource/Basecamp for planning our trip later this year to VIC and TAS and it looks like they will be more than detailed enough. I was surprised to find so many trails in parks and nature reserves. Quote Link to comment

+Midnight Storm Cachers
You might take a look at gpsfiledepot.com. I use that site to get maps for my long-distance backpacking here in the U.S., but it looks like they have a few for Australia with trails and topos. I'm not sure if any of those areas are what you need, but they are free and generally compatible with BaseCamp. Best of luck, and have a great trip! Midnight Storm Cachers Quote Link to comment

Thanks, Erik I live in Victoria and use OSM (Open Street Maps) and OCM (Open Cycle Maps) in preference to the Garmin Topo maps. OSM is much more detailed and up to date, especially since I started contributing to it and OCM shows many more tracks in the bush but also cycleways in suburbia than does OSM. HTH, b.
