Magellan 610 problem (likely operator error)

Hello

I am fairly new to geocaching and have an issue I can’t figure out. I have a Magellan 610 and have found all but 1 geocache I have looked for using UTM coordinates. But if I plug latitude and longitude coordinates into the GPS it puts me way of the mark. A few kilometers off the mark. It’s likely me, but I don’t understand how. It’s the correct number of digits and I double check them.

This is my first post. Thanks in advance for your help. More questions coming soon.

The coordinates should be set as Lat/Long HDDD° MM.MMM then check the map datum is WGS84. The user manual for the 610 is extremely good. You can download it from here. It's on page 41.
