RedShoesGirl
there was an auction on ebay for one of the ducks that ended this morning. the ad said it was for a charity event coming up on the 6th of december. since it was for a charity auction i figured it was ok to bid as i am well aware of the rules for the duck. so i bid and won the auction. i was really excited as i have a total 13 coins in my collection and this would be an opportunity to replace my beloved geo duck which i gifted to another coiner. a few hours later the buyer cancelled the whole thing and refunded my money. saying "That GeoDuck Happens to Be My Grandsons.. So Since it Can Not Be Given, I Have Issued You a Refund. " the seller was steorra and he sold another duck november 20. is that weird or what? rsg Edited December 5, 2014 by RedShoesGirl Quote Link to comment
+Tschakko
In my opinion it´s more probable that they did not receive the Money they would have liked to get for it. It will be back online in a few weeks... Quote Link to comment
RedShoesGirl
In my opinion it´s more probable that they did not receive the Money they would have liked to get for it. It will be back online in a few weeks... you could be right. it's the exact same duck as the one that sold on nov 20 for the same amount of money. #126 maybe the person that bought the coin in nov found it couldn't be adopted and returned it to the seller. or the seller pulled the same thing with the other buyer. something to watch out for... RedShoesGirl
Why don't you tell the truth ya whack a doodle. You demanded the geoduck pictured in the auction (which is just a picture) or a lowered numbered one. No where in the auction was it ever stated that the winner would receive a certain number. Then you went on to spread slanner everywhere stating the auction was a fraud because I used the same picture and write up on an earlier auction. So, Since you decided to pull the above a FULL refund was issued via Paypal for $53.94. With the explanation that the picture was my grandsons and not availavle. Also, No one shorted you any money. Learn to read, you were sent the SAME information from Ebay & Paypal that I receieved. Everything stated $53.94. So knock off the hero act of telling everyone you had to report me for any of this. Maybe you should have kept the geoduck you purchase from lindychris before selling it to sandtracker. Oh and I just wanna say Thank you for calling me a theif and a conartist. Because of you I have collected $125 more for our event. as i wrote on facebook, there was a huge misunderstanding WHO was selling the coin because there was no indication it was coming from the LM. i wrote that to you also in an email. when i bought the coin from lindychris years ago, i did NOT know at the time they were not to be sold. so you said ok, you understood and adopted the coin to me. i don't think you would have adopted the coin to me if you thought i bought the coin knowing it was not to be sold. i just saw a cute rubber duckie. So i learned the coins were not to be sold. easy. i NEVER SOLD the coin to sandtracker. it was a gift. a very simple gift from one person who loved rubber duckies to another. i think if you ask him he will tell you the same thing. as for being a whack-a-doodle - meh. here is our ebay exchange - no demands - only a question and as you can see very excited. it wasn't until i got your strange answer i thought someone might be impersonating you. here is my message - you can see there was no demand. just a question. "Other: redshoes1946 sent a message about Lehigh Mafia GeoDuck #141487309896 hi, just double checking the coin pictured will be the one sent out. it has a fairly low number and that was one of the reasons i bid. could you confirm please? or even a lower number if possible. thanks so much, i am SO excited."" **************** the answer was: "The GeoDuck that is Pictures is Just Pictured. That GeoDuck Happens to Be My Grandsons.. So Since it Can Not Be Given, I Have Issued You a Refund. " >>>>>your response confirmed it was the same duck. it was as pictured<<<<< so i do think there was a mis-communication ... insulting me serves no purpose. good luck with your auctions. i am SO glad you actually made more than i paid when i won - all my concern paid off for you. good luck also with your event. you do good work. TMA without knowing steorra was working with lehigh mafia, it seemed odd. i know about the auctions and i know the geo-ducks are not to be sold. Quote Link to comment
