DBsearching
All right you AZ cachers looking for a cache in the Mesa area. After I searched for awhile and could not find it checked the hint and it said "Yuma style hide" what the heck is a Yuma style hide?? Thanks for your help. Quote Link to comment
T.D.M.22
It's hot and dry in Yuma. Maybe no wet logs? Edited February 23, 2015 by T.D.M.22 Quote Link to comment
Crow-T-Robot
I've found a few caches in Yuma and none seemed to have a definable "style"...so no idea what that style might be. Hot and dry is a good guess. Quote Link to comment
wmpastor
I'm guessing hidden in on or a cactus. Quote Link to comment
K13
Have you tried asking the cache owner? They will know what it means. Quote Link to comment
DBsearching
Guess that will be my next step. Thanks Quote Link to comment
Walts Hunting
Cache there a lot and the desert is filled with micros in areas that could handle a five gallon can. So maybe that's what they meant. I'll also bet if you asked the cachers from yuma what that meant you might get several answers and at least one HUH! Quote Link to comment
Trav'lin Two
Yuma style could mean under a rock or in a bush. Another style of hiding is putting out decoys around GZ so you might find two or three fake caches before you find the one with the log book. Quote Link to comment
