+GeoLog81
What is a geotour? Searching that topic I've found the page with 'geotours' like that one: https://www.geocaching.com/play/geotours/prague-airport But for me it looks like a series of traditionals with bonus... So how that geotour works? Is it simply about finding all caches from the geotour? Quote Link to comment
+K13
You figured it out. A series of geocaches (In my area they are usually placed by some touristy entity, County Tourism Bureau, State Parks Dept, etc.) which highlight a certain area. Some may have a bonus at the end, or some may have a prize for finding some percentage, or all, of the tour. Quote Link to comment
Rock Chalk
From the GeoTours webpage: A GeoTour is a collection of geocaches that take geocachers on a tour of a specific area. They can be along a trail, through historic sites, in a park, and even in the middle of an urban area. At each stop, you can introduce family-friendly activities, interesting facts, stories, and the best parts of your destination. Most times there's some sort of reward (e.g. geocoin) for finding and logging a certain number of caches on an official GeoTour. We've got a new forum area for GeoTours and reward geotrails, too.
