+Joe Tramp
Thanks (also for the "souvenir" upgrade). Just regarding the zooming functionality - could you make it possible to filter while zooming further out? Is there a reason that it doesn´t work? There are naturally many other small wishes (possibility to download my own caches before publication, to order caches according the FP-percentage, some communication of intended changes etc.), but a bird in the hands is still worth two in the bush Link to comment
Moun10Bike
Just regarding the zooming functionality - could you make it possible to filter while zooming further out? Is there a reason that it doesn´t work? The map relies on a tile-generating system to speed performance and lower the load on the server. This allows the maps to display caches when zoomed way out; the previous map system would not load any caches until you were zoomed way in. The tiles are generated at intervals determined by zoom level, with the tiles with greatest coverage being regenerated less frequently. By their nature, these tiles cannot be customized to individual accounts. That's why you cannot get filtering at the levels where the pre-generated tiles take over. Link to comment
+Prawn Cracker
Any chance of a look at the icons not appearing on maps issue? It appears to be related to the firewall installed in Belkin modems and JavaScript but there seems to be a lack of response from Groundspeak on the issue. http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=311048&view=findpost&p=5336206 Thanks. +Fiver1
The problem I have with the maps now is that they won't zoom with the mouse wheel. It's always worked before the "fix". Link to comment
+GeoTrekker26
The problem I have with the maps now is that they won't zoom with the mouse wheel. It's always worked before the "fix". I'm using Google Maps on Firefox v25.0.1 and Windows 7 and the scroll wheel zooms the map properly. It is useful to provide some system details when reporting a problem as many are software specific and some cannot be fixed by GS. Link to comment
