+Dani_leia
While out for a walk a bushwhack part of a city park, I found an official Cache Advance GC lock-and-lock container with sort of typical swag (a bunch of little rubber snakes and lizards) but no log book. The cache name was written in sharpie as "The Lizard". There was other handwriting, but I couldn't decipher it. I tried to look it up, but there was no cache listed on Geocaching.com in that area at all, and nothing that matched that name. There was also a Lizard man action figure hanging from the tree branches above. Any suggestions? Quote Link to comment
Keystone
What were the approximate coordinates for this location? Or, can you tell us the GC Code for the nearest cache to where you found this mystery container? Quote Link to comment

I'm pretty sure this is GC6APMH Super-Villainous: The Lizard, placed by Minneapolis15. I asked him if he wanted me to do anything about it. He said just leave it, maybe someday he'd come get it. He has a pretty impressive list of archived caches. Suggestions? I wish I could log it, but I'm not a premium member (it's a premium cache). Quote Link to comment

You can still log a Premium Member cache as a Basic Member. -- Go to geocachingadmin.com -- Enter the GC code in the GC code box -- Click on "Log" -- Enter your log Cache owners don't always retrieve their caches after they've been archived, so sometimes cachers finds them and it's okay for them to log them as "Found". Not sure what happened on or about October 20, 2016, to cause the CO to kill off most of their caches, but they need to go clean up their geotrash, not just leave it out there. But I'll leave it to folks in the area to encourage them to do the right thing. Quote Link to comment
