+mty55
Has anyone here tried the Rayovac Platinum Low discharge 2100mah batteries. I know most people have good things to say about Enloops. The Rayovacs are reasonably priced and available at Walmart. I have only had my Oregon 650 for a couple days and haven't had a chance to field test it for battery consumption. So far the battery pack that came with it seems sufficient. I'm looking for batteries that will endure a rigorous day of geocaching. Quote Link to comment
+BlackRose67
The Rayovac Hybird and now Platinum batteries are pretty good batteries. You won't see the same performance from them in high drain usage, but for powering a GPS they should be fine. I've got a set of them here. I should try them out in one my GPS units and see how they do compared to the Duraloops (Duracell Pre-Charged, rebranded Eneloops). Quote Link to comment
