+McLookers Posted August 23, 2016 Share Posted August 23, 2016 Is there a way that a pop up can be included on geocaching apps when logging to ask 'did you see a trackable' or 'did you drop a trackable'? Far too many trackables are lost with the main reason (in my opinion) is lack of education especially with newbies. If there was a pop up, awareness would be greater and it is much more likely that this component of the game could be enhanced in a positive way. Quote Link to comment
+cerberus1 Posted August 23, 2016 Share Posted August 23, 2016 On the other side of the coin, maybe it isn't a good idea to bring attention to items others deem important/valuable enough to have a "pop up" of it's possible presence. "I gotta find one of those! Maybe this is a treasure hunt." Lately, we're losing trackables that turn up at events by the bag-full, or piled into someone's new cache, or tb "hotel". Those are hoarders, and most are long-time players, not "newbies". Quote Link to comment
