GC Newsletter New Format

Recommended Posts

Are other folks getting oddities with the new newsletter format.

Unless I am wrong; we used to get heads up on new cache placements.

What I have recently received is a listing of every cache in my area.

I got the newsletter the other day and caches in my area took me to caches around London over 200 miles away <_<

The new newsletter is useless. The only thing stopping me unsubscribing is the hope that they'll go back to the old format.

I've unsubscribed, and keep an eye on threads here which I hope will let me know if they go back to the old format :laughing:

Not exactly holding my breath tho'...

I notice I can't read it at all in my email previewer, once I download it I'll have a better idea, but it doesn't seem to like text readers at all. Communications from GC apparently require a crippling degree of prettification*.

* Very advanced tech term.

Now when I open the newsletter I see caches I have found, some I have not found and those which I have placed.
Really? I don't see any caches. I just see a few paragraphs of text and some links.

Oooohhhhhh my:

I thought I had it bad.

I Guess that leaves us with a date defined PQ as an alternate method ... but lets keep that to ourselves ... siiiigghhhhhhhh
