Hi

Is it possible to rename the cache when put in Etrex20x? Is it possible to put a walk in order in Etrex20x? We put a walk in then spent ages looking for the cache in the gps unit to do them in order.

The caches' sort order on the GPSr is always by distance.

Either 'Third Party' software and rename the caches, before loading onto the GPS.

 

Or.

I used to download the caches gpx files and load them into www.gpsvisualizer.com/map_input?form=google and print the map with the cache names showing.

I've been a GSAK user since I started caching in 2005.

 

The text below outlined what I send to my Montana but should work on any GPSr with just length of what is seen being the variable. I probably pick a poor example as the cache I've shown is not from a series. If it was a series the number would be shown within the brackets.
