"New Log" on my geocache EMAILS

Hello,

Last night, I received 2 notification emails from the standard "no-reply" geocaching email address advising that 2 of my geocaches had received new logs, both which were "Write Note" from the same user. I was going to email the user because it appeared that the user was using the write note feature to log their cache, instead of the Found it log. When I started to look for the user, the system said that the user hadn't been online since 2013. I looked at the emails again and it said that these logs were from 2012. Somebody has a bug somewhere. I have included the email header and email text if this helps you figure out what is going on.

Found some sort of crazy animals, but they scattered before our full arrival. Stuffed full of goodies! Took devil spoon and left a skeleton!

Seems weird that on the "Dill" one the Write Note is next to their found log of that date.

Most of their find logs (on yours) were around July '12, and seems they did all of yours.

- Maybe an email (or msg ctr message) to them would help you solve this. :)

They've logged caches though, as late as October of last year.

Casual phone cacher probably, never hitting the site (no need to, no caches of their own), they won't show a "Last Visit" past the last time they needed something.

May not really know without messaging them, but it could be as simple as they "revisited" your caches, not realizing it'd be okay to mark it at the later date.

We revisit caches with newbies we take under wing (good-sized, easy to find, and there) to learn this odd hobby. :)
