Hey

Can someone tell me how to put a gpx-file with Geocaches (made with GSAK) to a Garmin Etrex Touch 25 and make it work? ;-)

In GSAK: Menu > GPS > Send Waypoints ...

NB: GSAK has an excellent Help file.

You don't need to use the macro. Make sure the setup in the send waypoints is set to the correct device. It should then send as a GGZ.

If you use the GarminExport macro however it works even better. Export as GGZ AND export WPs as POI so they don't clutter up the list of WPs. Added bonus: you can change the naming of the POI's to your liking and they are in separate categories (Parking, virtual, physical...)

I've tried everything to make my pocket query work on my touch 25. I've tried loading them with BaseCamp to no avail. I've tried drag and drop to the GPX folder and nothing. I'm getting quite frustrated with it and unfortunately, I can't bring it back to the store for a refund. I'm not too savvy with Macro's and all that, but I did buy this GPS so I can use it in the states instead of buying expensive data. Does anyone know how I can load these pocket queries?

When you download the Pocket Query file from the website, it will be a zipped file. Make sure to unzip the file, which will give you 2 .gpx files.

Transfer those .gpx files to the Garmin/GPX folder of your eTrex device. Make sure the files have transferred before detaching your eTrex from the computer.

That should work. :)

You need to provide more details on what you are doing and how it is not working.

Some other possibilities other than mentioned above are making sure all filters are turned off. If that does not work, sometimes, you need to delete all GPX files, re-boot and then load them up again.
