Hi,

I am new at this and I'm setting up my first mystery so I am wondering which checker do you recommend, looking at gccheck.com, certitude.org, geopuzzler.ml, geocheck.org, Geocache.fi, geochecker.com there all are/or look the same. But which one would you recommend to use?

Thanks!

I like certitude. It allows keyword puzzles (puzzle produces keyword, certitude's confirmation of the keyword includes the coordinates), and it's easy for me to copy-paste my solution into it.

Some of the others have insisted on the solution being entered into multiple fields, rather than being copy-pasted into a plain text field. And some have allowed a plain text field, but have been overly picky about the format, to the point that they reject the format copy-pasted from cache pages on the geocaching.com site.

We use mostly geocheck.org which is very versatile with child waypoints and inexact solutions, and certitudes.org which supports keyword solutions.

The only checker we must recommend AGAINST, is geopuzzler.ml

* it requires registration

* the people behind the checker are anonymous and do not respond to email

* we received a warning from another cacher, who has strong evidence geopuzzler.ml was involved in breaking into his geocaching.com account, accessing his corrected coordinates (and maybe more)

* the few caches it is being used on (all published by the same geocaching.com account), are currently all disabled by the reviewer, because of this situation
