+Huntermountain
Hi there, All sorts of things went wrong with my internet connection while I was doing some bookkeeping on this weekends found caches. We physically dropped off a geocoin in a cache, but as my internet connection went berserk, the coin disappeared from the list of trackables in my possession, without me having the opportunity to log it's current location. So I guess it's in limbo for the time being. How can I rectify this situation? Thanks in advance, Peter Quote Link to comment
+steben6
Do you still have the tracking number? If so, you could look it up and then grab it and drop it in the correct cache. Quote Link to comment

I've been looking for a way to do just that, but I can't seem to find out how to do that... Unfortunately, I don't have the code on the coin anymore... +nevadanick
Go to your profile and check the 'trackables logged' for you. Shows you only have 5. Is it one of those 5 ? If so, click the appropriate trackable and it will take you to that trackable's page and you will see whatever is showing for it now. Then you can use the profile feature to PM/message the TO and ask for help, explaining the situation. Quote Link to comment
+Droo
It's entirely possible someone grabbed it since you physically dropped it off and logged it into their possession before you could log the drop. If it had happened while the coin was still in your possession then it would cause for alarm. Not something to get concerned about as it can happen to anyone but it's a good reason for logging trackables at the soonest opportunity. Quote Link to comment
+Huntermountain
Thanks for the input. I'm in the process of trying to get the code so I can grab the coin, and then log it at the right spot. One thin is certain, I'll never take a trackable again, without writing down code.
