[BUG] Poor Accessibility for Color Blind Users

This thread is a specific bug report about poor accessibility for color blind users (estimated at 8% of men) created by the new cache icons on the geocaching maps. There is no open thread in the Bug Reports forum discussing this specific issue, which I why I opened this thread.

Thank you for collecting those links to posts in other active threads. Geocaching HQ's product owner for the map changes has read those reports/complaints, and has already indicated that they're looking into this issue. Discussion should continue in the open threads, especially the Release Notes. Closing this duplicate discussion.
