Wherigo player on Samsung tablets

I am considering entering the tablet crowd; specifically through Verizon, which has a nice line of Samsung tablets - I don't know any tablet specifics beyond this. I would like to find out if the Wherigo player will work on these tablets before I take the plunge. I am told by the folks at the Verizon store that the OS is Android if that helps. All input welcomed.

Thanks!

I tried the galaxy tab 3 o4 (can't remember which) and the accuracy on the gps was not really great. I switched to an unlocked google nexus phone and am really happy with the accuracy. I have heard from ingress users that the tablets (in general) are notorious for not being very accurate but then again I heard that a year and a half ago so there very well could be some new devices that have much better gps accuracy. I would recommend seeing if you have wiggle room to return the tablet (need be) and go ahead and by one and try out a couple cartridges using the WhereYouGo app. It might also to help asking if they know which devices have best accuracy.
