+Stokesy
Apologies if this has come up before, I've looked and can't see any definitive help. I've just purchased Garmin Discoverer GB Premium on microSD card, and according to the website, the packaging etc., it should be plug and play. However, I've inserted it into a Montana 650t and then an Oregon 600 (both of which quite happily read other Garmin Discoverer maps) and both units come up with the error "Can't Unlock Maps" when I boot them up. I've tried updating to the latest firmware, so that's all up to date and not the issue. I've mailed Garmin support, but thought this forum might be of use. Any advice? Quote Link to comment
jholly
Where did you get the card? ebay purchases of this sort of device can be iffy at best. Quote Link to comment

+cheech gang
Forget email. Call direct at 1 (800) 800-1020. I have called twice in the last two days (different questions) and they were on the line within a minute. Quote Link to comment

I've accessed the maps via the card in base camp connected to my Mac, so they are accessible, but for some reason neither of my GPS units can read them. Very strange. Quote Link to comment
