Do you care how many caches you can load into it? Is display, resolution, and mapping important? Do you want be most current model? Is GLONASS important? Do you want an electronic compass? We can give you lots of advice, but none of it really matters since you will be the one using it. If you can, go to a store where you can get a feel for the unit, or perhaps a caching event where people may have different models you could see. Quote Link to comment

I am looking for something I can load geocaching info to, any suggestions? I'm a big fan of the " old " Meridian series and have a couple of Golds. Go for the Garmin 62S....has the same great button layout that you're used to and also adds a 3 axis pointer like the Meridian Platinum had....also has the quad antenna like the Gold. They've been selling for about $200...great price for a top end unit that does it all. Quote Link to comment
