Good and Stable/Reliable GPSr

I'm thinking about a GPSr for xmas, would be used for geocaching - I've had a little Garmin Geko 201 for some years, and just use my iPhone currently. I'm a definite gadget freak, so aren't after a bargain model, but also don't want the newest full-of-bugs one either....

Where should I be looking in terms of stability, happy to spend up to a grand if needed. I do like the size factor of the Magellan 710 - is it easy to integrate with geocaching.com? If given a choice with equal features would take buttons over touch screen, but aren't totally against touch screens....

Any opinions??

I'm rather fond of my new Oregon 650T. I bought it from REI so if I ever have issues with it, they'll make it right (so far I've had three replacement/upgrades courtesy of REI).

It holds more caches than are currently active in the world, has a flashlight (camera as well), is fairly sturdy, accurate and so far stable for me. The only thing it doesn't do is Wherigo's.

That GPS, GSAK, a Premium Membership and a paid Project-GC account have really made for some great/easy geocaching trips.
