+Unwinder1
How can a cache be published and the next day become unpublished? Quote Link to comment
+T.D.M.22
Could be accidently published. Perhaps it was meant to come out on Friday, but the reviewer sent it out on Tuesday. Or perhaps the reviewer published it and some new info came up that would cause it to be denied - then it could be retracted if nobody found it yet. Or maybe the reviewer just hit the wrong button. +T.D.M.22
Or maybe the reviewer just hit the wrong button. The problem of having dogs with big paws, reviewing caches! I blame this new technology. With all these touch screens, one misplaced paw, or chased cat is all it takes... Quote Link to comment

+Harry Dolphin
The two that I found which were retracted: One was in the stonework of an historic ruin. The other was a mystery cache where the final was 70' from an earlier traditional. I'm sure there are other reasons, such as a dog or cat walking across your keyboard. Quote Link to comment
+T.D.M.22
That's why they use volunteer reviewers around the world. If they were at HQ they'd get distracted, chase and eat the squirrels. Without squirrels, the servers would crash. Quote Link to comment
