+Philmontosaurus Rex
Well, I went with the 64s and am enjoying so far (haven't cached yet). I plan on purging the preloaded caches for PQs and GPXs of my own. I can view caches in a list, but I can't find how to view them all on the map. Is that possible? Quote Link to comment
+Lil Devil
You may have to zoom in further to see them on the map. They only show below a certain zoom level. You can configure the threshold if you want. Quote Link to comment
+JohnCNA
When you select the map screen, it will open centered on your current location. While you are on the map screen, select Menu and Setup Map. Select the Zoom Levels and change the option for Geocaches to Auto. For some silly reason the factory default is to only show geocaches on the map when you are zoomed in pretty close. The Auto setting will fix that. If you want to see caches on the map that are farther away than what the screen shows you can pan the map over there with the arrow rocker button. If you want to view caches more than about 140 miles away, you will have to use the Find, City, Spell Search option to jump the map to the nearest city and then pan the map from there. And be sure and update your firmware to the latest 3.70 version if it's not already on there. There was a very recent update that greatly improves the compass operation. Quote Link to comment

EXACTLY what I was looking for!!! Thank you very much, JohnCNA! Quote Link to comment
GSV3MiaC
This is one of many things which the Garmin 64S manual (all 12 pages of it, once you find it on the web) completely fails to address. I can only assume you are supposed to work your way through the whole menu tree to see what is there!? Why is it that as the GPSs have got smarter and more complicated, the manuals have got skinnier and less useful? - have the manual writers all been sacked, or just given up, or taken it all to forums instead?
