Question is though, how do you know if the GPS is using WAAS? Sometimes beside the signal indicator a small W appears beside it during optimum signal conditions. I have read the manual and searched online but nowhere can I find what this W beside the signal meter means. Kind of strange that this icon appears on the screen but yet it is not mentioned anywhere in the manual. Everything else is. I am thinking perhaps this W signifies that WAAS is being used?
