+CazP
Hiya, I am currently working towards a church micro challenge where i need to find 4 types of cache. There are a few letterbox caches near to me, how do they differ from traditional/multi and do i need to do anything specific with them? Quote Link to comment

To all intents and purposes you can treat them as a Traditional cache as the only difference between a Traditional and a Letterbox Hybrid cache is that the letterbox has a rubber stamp in the container. +GeoLog81
The Letterbox must contain a stamp and can't contain any ALR like Challenges. So you can't have Challenge letterbox. Except for it, it can be tradi, multi, mystery, or I suppose even Wherigo. Quote Link to comment

Oops - yeah, I forgot (as I'm used to the so-called Letterbox Hybrids near me which are nothing more than a trad with a stamp in the box) - Letterbox Hybrid Caches can indeed have multiple stages - and, I think, written directions / navigational instructions on how to navigate between and find the various stages. +GeoLog81
Some letterbox are simply quizes where you have, for example, to 'break' the hash or get the coordinates from the listing in the other, 'mystery' way. Most of Letterboxes I've met in Germany are picture-based multis, I suppose it's nearer the original concept of Letterbox. Quote Link to comment

+K13
thanks guys. Do i need to stamp the log or just sign as normal? I usually try do both, provided I have my stamp and stamp book along for the ride. The minimum would be to sign the log. Quote Link to comment
