e-mails don't mention pictures

I have over 100 trackables floating around out there (if they haven't been stolen!)

 

Someone holding one of my coins said "Hey, you know there's a picture of your coin that has the tracking # on it." I had no idea!! Been there over a year.

 

When someone puts a picture in their log, I think that picture should be in the owner e-mail that I get. Or, at least tell me of it's existence so I can find it myself.

 

This isn't an option somewhere, is it??

Not an option unfortunately.

There's quite a few threads asking the same thing, but mostly for caches that get pics added later.

I'd like a notification to say "picture included", then I could go on the trackable's page to look..

Notifications would have to change to all entries.

Now, you get no notice for caches or trackables if folks (like me) add pictures after all their logging's done.

Apart from what has been mentioned already, namely that many cachers add pictures at a later time and then one by one (would you like to receive e.g. 10 mails for 10 pictures associated with the same log?),

I guess that pictures that show the number of a trackable on a trackable's page are relatively harmless in times when it gets more and more common to post event logs where the number of all trackables that have been around on the event are listed.

The problem is that when you log online, you cannot post a photo when you submit the log. Instead, you post the log and THEN it gives you the option to upload the photo. So basically, when you get the notification of a new log, it's because the log was submitted before the poster was even able to upload a photo. We will only see log w/ photo notifications when Groundspeak allows photo uploads to be submitted at the same time as the log itself. I honestly don't want separate notifications every time a photo is uploaded, but WOULD like to know when a photo is submitted WITH a log.
