+TheOldfields
Hi, This weekend was the first time that I've tried creating a route and then trying to follow it on my Oregon 450. All worked fine but the map wasn't automatically moving to reflect my changing location so I was needing to move the map manually. That would be fine if I was walking but I was actually cycling so a bit tricky to keep eyes on the road while adjusting the map. Is there something I'm missing that would allow me to tell the unit to do that automatically? Thanks for any info. Quote Link to comment
+Mineral2
Are you sure you're actually navigating the route and not just looking at it on the map preview? Use Go To > Routes > your route It shows the route on the map and you have to select the big green GO button to actually be navigating. At that point, it should return to the normal map screen. +fishgeek
Glad you got it working. When I first read the OP, I was thinking it was the same problem that I often have when I accidentally contact the map screen. If you touch the screen and slide it, even just a little bit, the screen will freeze where you moved it. You will have a "go-back" arrow in the corner of the map instead of the red X. Hit the arrow and the map will function normally and the map will start moving again. Quote Link to comment
