Magellan eXplorist 110

I have just got an eXplorist 110 and can not "send to GPS" geocaches. every time i try to it says to down load Magellan Communicator which i have about 10 times ....any help ?

The eXplorist is not one of the devices listed by Magellab=n as compatible with Magellan Communicator: http://www.magellangps.com/Magellan-Communicator-for-PC (click on the Compatible Units tab).

In the user manual it says to download Magellan Communicator, as below

#6.The Send to GPS function first detects if you have the Magellan Communicator installed. If not, the message "Magellan Communicator not found..." appears. Select the "click here"link to install the Magellan Communicator. The Magellan Communicator only needs to be installed the first time a connection is made between an internet browser and the receiver.

What OS and browser are you using??? This has been a problem for years with Magellan communicator for a lot of people here.

 

My suggestion is try another browser, Internet Explorer seems to have a better success rate.

 

Also a lot of times it will ask you if you want to "Update to the latest version of Magellan Communicator", just ignore that or say no.

Depends on the system your using. But i have the same gps and i get caches on it by the "gpx" file
