+ClaraJean/JLDossett
I am working on a Challege Cache in Florida that requires 10 cache types in one day. I qualify, but I can't find my lab caches. Is there any way for me to show proof that I found a lab cache on a particlar day? Quote Link to comment
+cerberus1
Go to your public profile, click on Geocaches, and the list of cache types will be on the left. Quote Link to comment
+Isonzo Karst
. Is there any way for me to show proof that I found a lab cache on a particlar day? No, there isn't. Lab cache "listings" disappear shortly after the logging date ends. All you can prove about lab finds is that you have them. Not when, not where. That said, if you can show 9 finds on some day, one of them a Mega event, the Challenge cache owner may well believe you that you also have a Lab cache find for that day. +noncentric
Are you sure that you qualify? I looked at your account on Project-GC and it showed your busiest day was 8 cache types on 3/21/2015. PGC doesn't include Lab Cache data, but even if you had a Lab Cache that day then you'd have 9 (8+1). To prove your 'busy day' - you could try mygeocachingprofile.com . That site will require that you upload a My Finds pocket query file, and you'll have to manually enter your Lab Cache finds. Once you enter your Lab Cache finds, then you won't have to re-enter them the next time you use mygeocachingprofile.com Quote Link to comment

(For example, a challenge to Find 50 Lab caches is not allowed.) However, Geocaching.com user profiles do include Lab Caches in metrics necessary for some allowed challenges: Total Finds, Longest Streak and the Finds for Each Day of the Year grid. Therefore, we are making an exception to permit Lab caches to be used as qualifiers for challenges related only to those metrics. Quote Link to comment

That rule would not apply to the CC that the OP is trying to qualify for, as the OP is attempting an existing CC that was published prior to April 21, 2015. The CC that the OP is trying to qualify for is actually prohibited by the new CC guidelines, based on guideline #9: Time-Limited. But the CC is grandfathered because it was already published. If I go to my public profile, and click on Lab Caches, it shows me what labs I found, when I "completed" them, and what group they are part of. Edit to add: you can not go to a different user and view their lab caches. Edited May 26, 2016 by igator210 Quote Link to comment

My busiest day was 3/14/2015. I had 8 different cache types that day. For testing purposes, I just went into mygeocachingprofile.com and added a Lab Cache for 3/14/2015, then re-uploaded My Finds, and now it shows my busiest day was 9 caches types (see image below). Note: After adding or removing Lab Caches on the "Build My Profile" page of mygeocachingprofile.com, it is necessary to re-upload the My Finds PQ in the "Upload My Find Pocket Query" page. Yes, mygeocachingprofile.com shows lab caches, but like you said you have to manually enter those. It's not pulling the date or amount from geocaching.com. Could easily be faked. Once entered, the mygeocachingprofile.com will save that info so it's not necessary to re-enter the lab cache info each time. Regarding the 'fake' info. That's true of all finds. Someone could change the online dates of any of their finds. I guess I don't see the Lab Cache method on mygeocachingprofile.com as any more problematic than any other logging option, and right now it's the only option I know of that exposes Lab Caches for "Busy Day" types of challenges.
