+KLHeff
When I first signed up for Geocaching.com, I used a familiar username, but since my wife is nearly as enthused about this sport/game as me, I would prefer a simpler username to include my wife's initial. What problems might I encounter if I submit this change of username? Quote Link to comment
+niraD
Well, your caches will continue to say that they are "A cache by kheff2006", but "kheff2006" will link to your new profile page which will show your new name. If you want to change that, then you'll need to edit your cache descriptions to change the "cache by" name. And depending on how active you've been at local events, some people may be confused if they know you as "kheff2006" but you start introducing yourself with your new name. And if you've been signing logs as "kheff2006", then any cache owners who cross-check the physical log against the online logs will notice that your new name doesn't appear on the physical log. Anyway, those are the ones I can think of offhand. Quote Link to comment

What problems might I encounter if I submit this change of username? I once changed my trailname about once a week for about 6 weeks (it was a matter of principle regarding privacy). Didn't notice any problems because of it. Quote Link to comment
+Sherminator18
I would say just go ahead and change it. You may just have to explain to people that you've done so. Quote Link to comment
