OpinioNate
Greetings Geocachers! The following is a list of cases resolved in the latest website update. Please let us know in this thread if you notice anything unusual happening as a result of the fixes detailed below. All unrelated issues should be reported on our feedback site located at: http://feedback.geocaching.com. Thanks! Introducing Geocaching for Windows Phone 7 Mobile Application Windows Phone 7 uses a combination of GPS, Wi-Fi positioning and cell towers to determine your approximate location. Groundspeak's Windows Phone 7 Application then queries the Geocaching.com database in real-time and provides a list of geocaches near you. Check out the Geocaching for Windows Phone 7 application page for a full list of features! Souvenirs We now have the capability to award Souvenirs retroactively! Souvenirs will be awarded in batches over the next several weeks. If you logged a geocache in the past that would have awarded a Souvenir it will automatically appear on your profile tab. +NYPaddleCacher
I see that one of the features that was added was retroactive souvenirs. Since I was one of the many recipients of the Delaware State and Baden-Wurttemburg souvenirs yesterday I just checked my profile. They're both still there, but the links to the full artwork are producing an error page with: There is no souvenir in the database that that matches your request. In fact, the 10/10/10 souvenir, which was working yesterday, also produces that error. All three links are going the the following url: http://www.geocaching.com/souvenir/?guid=00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 I looked at Moun10Bike's profile and all of their souvenirs are using the same URL. OpinioNate
A couple of these issues (view larger map, encrypt/decrypt) I suspect simply need a browser refresh to fix, as I cannot reproduce them. Please make sure you close and reopen your browser before reporting a bug. Other bugs we're currently working on: -Line feeds in cache logs/print friendly pages -Find counts on cache pages -Image upload Regarding BBCode, it will no longer work and we have a script to convert the old code to HTML. We need to wait and do the conversion slowly because to convert that many logs at once would be insane. Please just leave the logs as they are and we'll do the conversion over time. These should be sorted out very soon. Thanks for all your patience and feedback! Link to comment

+hydnsek
The update appears to have messed with the HTML code for images within cache pages. Some of my cache pages have images that are right-aligned (or left-) within the text, and that code is being ignored - the images are now appearing separate from the paragraphs, surrounded by white space. Not good! Examples: Spur by the Marsh (image should be on right side of text block, as coded in <img> tag) Shy Bear Pass This break in the HTML code has really messed up the formatting of my cache pages. Is it on the list to be fixed? In case it's a browser thang, I'm using Safari 4.1.2. Edited November 9, 2010 by hydnsek Link to comment
