help with rangerfox's builder

I have made a Wherigo cache on rangerfox's builder, but before putting it on geocaching.com, I need to know something. I need to know whether when a player answers all the answers correctly in a zone, they will automatically know where the next zone is, or whether I will have to put it in the correct answer box.

I would also like to make a virtual Wherigo, similar to orienteering, where all the player needs to do is enter the zone, without answering a question and then get the location of the next zone. I need to know whether this is allowed, and if so, how to do it.

And also, how can I change the proximity of a zone from 3 as it just always goes back to 3 metres, and 3m isn't enough distance.

Any help will be appreciated :)

IIRC, the next zone will be displayed upon a correct answer from the previous zone - no need to include coordinates. Most of mine are set up this way.

Part 2, I'm not really sure what you're intending. You can provide information in a "note" without needing a question answered and it will then send you onto the next zone once the material has been read. OR you could just have them get into the zone to trigger the next zone by not supplying anything at all for them to do or read.

Part 3 - I've been having this same issue recently. It used to be user controlled but now it appears to only have one setting - 3m

I was at an event over the weekend, so I only looked at the forum for moderation issues. Now that I'm back, I can answer questions again.

Kit is designed to deactivate a zone upon proximity (to avoid the Garmin shut off bug when an input is active) and to show the next zone only when all messages and questions have been answered correctly. Please note that if a player app allows a user to cancel out of an input, the player will be stuck with nothing to do and nowhere to go. I'm not sure if the players do anything I can detect as an input cancel event.

To answer your orienteering question, I'll put it like this: once all actions in a zone are complete, the next zone is shown. If you don't include any actions, the next zone is shown upon entry. I did have to test this just to be sure, though. You'll find I've shared a cartridge with you, titled "Orienteering".

I fixed the proximity range issue last week. You'll find that the second zone within the cartridge I shared has a proximity range of ten meters. (I think I broke it when I started to add the Lights Out kit. Speaking of that, once I'm finished with the Wherigo Foundation site updates, soliciting haunted attractions for my photography services, attempting to arrange travel caching, and logging caches for the month of August, I'll return to Kit and start working on the code that will make the lua script necessary. I could write the lua script code faster if I didn't try so hard to be compatible with other builders and just used some custom author script.)
