+Atlas Cached
For those of you considering the Montana 610/680 series GPSr as an upgrade for what you are currently using, please be advised, Garmin have removed the 'Geocaching With Photos' feature available on other Garmin handhelds, including the Montana 600/650 series. If you want Garmin to include this feature in a future firmware release, please take 5 minutes to tell them here. To make it easier, you can copy and paste the following text if you're in a hurry! Thank you! Montana 610/680 series: PLEASE, add the 'Geocaching with photos' feature found on previous Garmin Montana units and other trail units. Many geocaching.com users load geocache photos to their GPS so they do not need to use a second device (smart phone, etc) and can truly have everything they need right on their Garmin GPSr. This is a HUGE OVERSIGHT to have removed this feature from these units. If/when current Garmin customers discover these units do not offer that capability, they may not want to 'upgrade'. Edited January 28, 2016 by Atlas Cached Quote Link to comment
+Viajero Perdido
Wow, the stuff you take for granted when caching with a phone... Quote Link to comment
+Mineral2
What geocaching with photos feature? Geocaching.com has never included photos with caches in their GPX files, though you can get and pair photos with GSAK apparently. Quote Link to comment

You can add photos to your Garmin unit manually as well. +Mineral2
Man, that sounds like a pain in the butt if you're not using GSAK to do that for you. Quote Link to comment

+Atlas Cached
Man, that sounds like a pain in the butt if you're not using GSAK to do that for you. GSAK is not the only option, there are several. Maybe one day Geocaching.com will support this natively, as well as GGZ files. Hey, a person can hope :^) Quote Link to comment
+Mineral2
iCaching doesn't appear to support this... I don't think. I've yet to find a mac compatible tool that sweeps me off my feet. Then again, finding caches without photos is good enough for me. Quote Link to comment
+Viajero Perdido
... finding caches without photos is good enough for me. I've cached in areas (Hong Kong, Korea) where spoiler photos are all the rage, and almost essential for finding needle-in-haystack hides. I grumbled about this until I gave in and bought a phone and app. Quote Link to comment
