How to log a geocoin as "Visited"

Ok were new to geocaching and having a ton of fun - We have a GeoCoin and Trackable that we have picked up and want to help get some miles on their logs before in a couple of weeks drop them off nearer to their destination.

 

We cant work out how to log them as "visited" on caches that we have visited with it our possession.

 

Were using the Geocaching app on an Iphone to log the finds as they happen then updating any info on a PC at then end of the day.

 

There is probably a simple explanation right under our nose (Just like some of the finds!)

 

Looking forward to a simple solution !

Make a log on the cache you want a visit of a given trackable, a Found It or Note, by instance.

On the bottom of the log page you will find all the trackables on your possession, and the option to Drop off or Visit.

If you are interested in logging the geocoin through the geocaching app:

 

First, open up the "Found it!" menu:

 

 

After this step, select "Trackable Drop/Visit"

 

 

Select the Trackable from your inventory:

 

 

Select the log type - "Visit" :

 

 

After this, hit done and you'll be directed back to the "Found it!" menu. Write your log as usual and you're good to go
